Authentic Indian cooking classes
and Sourdough baking

Hi, I’m Mina and I run my cooking classes from my very own kitchen right on the border of the Devon/Dorset coastline, where a warm welcome awaits you.  

You will learn in an informal and relaxed way, but don’t think I’ll be doing all the work as you are hands-on all the way.  Or you may join me virtually, whether it is a cook along or a demonstration. 

Whichever way you decide to do it , you will learn how to use all those spices so they complement each other and you will produce the most amazing Indian Cuisine as a result.

I will be imparting with 45+ years of experience, from my indian heritage, including how not to do things and breaking the barrier of some common curry myths.

Wow! What an incredible cookery class from Mina. Ever since being introduced to her delicious curries years and years ago.

I have always wondered how she achieves the deep and delicious flavours. I now know it’s all in the spices.

Not only did Mina show us how to cook 3 differing dishes, she also talked through our spice set and I feel so much more knowledgeable using these going forward.

The class flowed so well and I didn’t feel behind at any point, Mina kept checking up to see if she was going at the right pace for all attendees.

And hey presto, 3 delicious dishes at the end and a kitchen smelling of yummy spices! All in all a fun experience learning lots of new cooking techniques…

Mina ran a full day course for myself and my son in her beautiful kitchen focussing mainly on cooking curries the authentic way!

The experience was fantastic, informative and most importantly great fun. Mina’s presentation was well planned and relaxed and we learnt a lot about Indian food.

To top it all off Mina prepared a lovely lunch for us as well!

All in all we had a great day and would highly recommend the experience to others.

Learn how to make traditional Indian recipes as taught to me by my wonderful mum

I love spices and just how they can transform the simplest of ingredient.

I am passionate to bring those healthy spices and how to use the combination of them to create healthier Indian meals.

My family are from the Gujarat region of India so I am very much influenced by that region, however my travels to various parts of India have opened my eyes to a whole host of techniques and dishes – such a culinary rich country.
